FAQ

How much do tickets cost and what does that include?
Adventurer Rider Tickets:
R152 * (access to all rides)
Mini Adventurer Rider Tickets: R75* (under 1.3m)
Includes access to all height applicable rides as many times as you like!
A Fun Pass (Non Riders): will cost R50 which allows you to travel around the park by boat or train and access to all the exciting live entertainment.

*All prices exclude the Slingshot and other seperately ticketed attractions, which is an extra R50 per person per flight. You book and pay at the ride. Numbers are limited.

Who qualifies as a Mini Adventurer Rider?
A Mini Adventurer rider is anyone under 1.3m in height. A mini adventurer rider ticket can be purchased from the age of 3 years. Babies under 3 years must be accompanied by an adult fun pass holder or adult adventurer rider

Where are you situated?
We are situated in Milnerton on Century City Boulevard opposite Canal Walk Shopping Center.

Do you offer rain checks?
Rides may be closed temporarily during electrical storms, rain or high winds. Rides will re-open as soon as safe operations can be assured. Refunds or re-invites for inclement weather are not offered.

What is there for kids to do?
There are numerous rides for the children and we have various entertainment available that varies throughout the operational season.

Do you have Baby Changing facilities?
Yes, every Toilet is equipped with Baby Changing facilities.

Where can one park and how much do you charge?
We have a large parking area with ample parking space for all. The first 20 minutes are free thereafter we charge flat rate of R15 for the day.

Are there any restrictions with regards to the rides?
Age and height restrictions do apply as well as maximum weight and medical conditions may apply. Restrictions apply even when guests take full responsibility.

If I am not riding, do I still pay?
A Fun Pass (non-rider) ticket will cost R50, which allows you to travel around the park by boat or train and access to all the exciting live entertainment.

Can I bring my own food and beverage in?
No, no food or beverage is allowed into the park. We do however have a Food Court area, which has a wide variety of food outlets. All food sold at the outlets is Halaal with the exception of Venom Bar, Croco Bites and Courtyard Cafe.

Do you cater for diabetics / etc.?
No outside food and beverage is allowed to be brought into Ratanga Junction Theme Park. However, exceptions are made for Guests with diabetes (on wearing of Medical Aid bracelet / chain) to produce either at Guest Services on arrival. For food allergies, we request an original or certified doctors certificate presented on arrival at Guest Services. Guests need to contact our Guest Services team on arrival on 021-5508504. These food containers will be marked and dated to clearly show that they have been approved for entry into the park.

Do you still host functions when in hibernation?
Yes, the function facilities are still fully operational during hibernation. Please call us on 021-550 8504

Do you have accommodation available?
We do not have accommodation facilities at the park, however opposite the park there is a Stay Easy (021) 529 1100 or at the Protea Hotel – Island Club on 021-528-7000 or Protea Hotel – Colosseum on 021-526 4000 or Manhattan Suites on 021-555-8610 or Crystal Towers Hotel and Spa on 021-525-3803

How far from Canal Walk shopping center is Ratanga Junction?
Canal walk is opposite the park approximately 800m.

Do we issue refunds?
No refunds will be issued.

What is the Dress Code?
Ratanga Junction Theme Park is a family theme park and therefore must enforce its dress codes accordingly.
Ratanga Junction reserves the right to exclude visitors to their gated attractions who wear clothing that could create a distraction. This policy is in effect for all amusement park areas:

  • Clothing displaying offensive messages / language
  • Adult costumes or clothing that can be viewed as a costume (children under age 10 are excluded)
  • Bachelor / bachellarete party or adult Halloween costumes
  • Clothing made with offensive material (ie transparent)
  • Clothing that is excessively torn
  • Clothing which exposes inappropriate portions of the body such as string bikini tops, g-strings, bikini bottoms etc.

Guests wearing wedding attire are discouraged from entering the Theme Parks

What is Ratanga Junction’s ASSISTED GUESTS POLICY (Disability)?

Guests requiring extra assistance (i.e. “assisted guests”) are kindly requested to contact Guest Services on 021-5508744 or guest.services@ratanga.co.za who will endeavour to discuss the best available options on offer.

Ratanga Junction welcomes disabled guests to the Theme Park.

However, we regret that due to our strict Health and Safety requirements, visitors with significant physical or mental disabilities may not make use of the parks thrill rides. This policy is in line with stringent international safety standards of Theme Parks around the world and has been put in place to ensure the safety of all our visitors since guests must have the physical strength and ability to safely evacuate from a ride in case of an emergency.

Disabled guests are invited to enjoy many of the other attractions we have on offer like the midway games, daily dance show, etc.

Disabled guests are asked to contact the Guest Services (021-550-8744 or guest.services@ratanga.co.za) office upon arrival, where the Duty Manager will be happy to assist them before they enter the park.
